I never lost anything really valuable, or found anything valuable

my son found a black berry and I made him give to the manager of the restaurant where we were

he also found and ipod nano in the middle of the woods, and there really is nothing else we could do , but keep it, he still has it, there is no park ranger system in that area

he found money on the floor in a busy street , what to do about that ?

a friend got mugged a few days ago , he was washing his car right outside his house, he was taken for a ride and later let go with no wallet , no cell phone, and no car and a big scare

I lived in a small town in Minnesota for a couple of years and was also leaving my car unlocked all year round, never ever did I loose anything

it's sad but people honesty seems to depend on the environment where they live

I'm not surprised that mjs went through the trouble he did to find the ipod owner.
