Starting the New Year off right! Getting published!

Today was my first day back to work since before Christmas. What I found on my desk this morning when I got to work, was a contract for me to look over, and sign. The contract was for the use of one of my photos for the cover of one of my companies catologs. The contract was pretty vague, and didn't even have the name of the photo listed, so I had no idea what picture they had chosen. I did a little research at work, and found out what image they are using, and also saw a layout of the cover. They picked 4 photos, from 4 different employees for the cover, so each one gets a corner.

The CD of images I gave them to look at were all low res, 400x600 pixels, and that's what they are printing from. I had no idea they had chosen one of my images, and they never asked for a high res version. Because it's going to press tomorrow, there isn't time for them to do anything with the high res image. I hope the low res prints out OK...

This isn't a shot I would have chosen, but I guess if they like it, who am I to say. Anyway, here is the photo they chose. If anyone get's the Lands' End Overstock catalog, you should be getting the book with my photo sometime around the 27th of this month.
