    I found a new home @ pr.com

I'm new to the site and just wanted to say hi to everyone. I bought my first digital camera (PS 530) this summer and have a new found interest in photography. Some day I want to take photos as good as some of the ones I've seen on here.I'm almost embarrassed to post any of mine, but I did anyhow. Hey ya gotta start somewhere right?? There is a ton of information on this forum and hope to learn as much as I can,and also hope all of you are patient with beginners.

Welcome, We all have to start somewhere. You'll sure like it here. The more you post the more you learn. I love it here. It's the best forum on the web. I also looked at your gallery, your a better shooter than you give yourself credit. Post some stuff in the critique forums, that's where you'll learn the most....

Thanks for the kind words Greg.
I wasn't sure if I should post in that critique forum or not.But maybe I will post a couple on there.I'm already wanting to upgrade cameras but PJ recommended that I explore the manual modes on my current camera before upgrading.I'm just having a blast with this! I am so glad I stumbled across this site.

    Welcome

I agree with Greg you have some nice shots on the gallery - put some up on the Critique forum, one per thread to get some decent reviews. Its the only way to learn.

If you only monitor that forum, its not the same as getting your own critique. Its the only way to learn.

Hi and welcome. Like everyone says, you don't need to worry when you post images here. In fact, you probably will learn quicker about what works, what doesn't and why faster this way.
