That is a beautiful picture. I think a lot of photographer are a little camera shy themselves. In your case I sure don't know why. Love those saturated reds in this one.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Wow! That one is awesome, Adina. The gods smile down on you and bless us with your beauty.

Here's one I took after a ride, a couple of weeks ago. I've been riding solo a lot so my self-portrait production has been up.

There is no time of the year that's not right for your self portraits Adina. Now when you talk about Speed, Rick and looks like we have to throw Steve in there too that's a totally different story.

    Clone

    Adina-
You should clone out the text below the word, "enjoy" on your T-shirt. I think that would make this photo a lot more fun.

I so suck at cloning...I've got some duct tape I can put over it and reshoot.....

You know what I noticed? My eyes are two different sizes, like one is way bigger than the other, I think that's why I like them closed...otherwise I look like i've had a stroke.

I really don't do well with self portraits at all. I think I will continue to hide behind my camera(s) and leave the modelling to my beautiful kids. :blush2:

Haha yeah hiding. It's dark here now anyway, so that's my excuse for now.

Re: Self portraits...that time of year

I leave the 300mm prime nearly permanently afixed to my camera so this is all I could come up with - requiring the use of the 10 second timer.

Now the great distance actually covered isn't adequately portrayed here - due to the telephoto compression, the 1.6x crop factor,...

Or it could have been my Nike Earths, the heavy lunch meeting 30 minutes prior, and/or my big butt.
