The jiggling started in San Francisco...

    ... and continued today.

Actually, I started streaking long exposures in September, photographing the 9/11 light memorial from the river, and I decided to try again in San Francisco photographing something cheerier - the tree in Union Square. The first image is one of the better results of that, the second is trying the same effect on the trees in the lobby of my place of employment. (My supervisor is an avid amateur and doesn't discourage this behavior!) The last two are of the tree at the Stock Exchange at lunch. I decided to take it a step further and attempted a shape - a five-pointed star! These are the two that most closely (?!) resemble a five-pointed star.

    Crazy, man...

I always like seeing examples of painting with light.

You should try to create one writing your name...

How about some with you in ?
Was just looking at P.Picasso's light painting on the "Life" magazine photos from the last century, and thought of your shots.

Hey that first one really adds to the tree light effect.
