    For MTBBrian......

Brian emailed me a personal request to post photos of my studio. It's nothing fancy but it's mine!
I just moved here in June, and still need new furniture of the storage type for the stuff in all those boxes. This room is dedicated to creativity/photography - sleeping, cooking and hanging out all occur in other rooms.

    I forgot the hallway!

I forgot about the long hallway where I'm going to hang framed photos.

    One more.....

I figure you'd want a detail of the shelves, Brian, so one more before I relax for the night.

    Thanks Megan!
I hope that one of my photographs will be hanging there one day!
I'll post some pics of my new home to be in the next month or so!

    Very cool, Megan!

And hey, I've got a home depot light just like that, except it has only one light. But it's a very BRIGHT light, not one that I've ever thought about using for photography. Might have to rethink that.

I've been thinking about dedicating our "sun room" into a studio as well. We don't really use it except to store my table saw, and there's plenty of room to set stuff up for portrait work. I like the way you've got plenty of space also to put all your things in one place. Probably will make your workflow all that much easier.

Thanks. I'm still growing into the space, but already, it's easier to organize my negatives, and actually sit and look through them. I have so much work, and now it's no longer a chore to access it! As well as a joy to be able to walk across the room without tripping over something. Ah, space....
