Anyone going to see the Cherry Blossoms in DC?

Experts are predicting blossoms to peak between April 4-9.
The parade is on the 9th.

I live outside of DC. I say every year I'm going to do the Cherryblossoms proper, and every year I either forget, have to work during the peak, or get there after the peak. DO you live in the area? I would love to get over for the blossoms, I put the dates in my calendar, thanks.
