    Pics From the Show!

I am uber tired. I didn't get out of the club until late, however I wanted to get a photo up. I have a few more to share tomorrow, so check back to see them

This was my small set up. Due to being a late entry in the show i almost ended up without any space to show, and initially had all my images on the floor leaned up against the wall. I will post that picture tomorrow. It was just my luck that the guy that had picked this spot didn't show up, so I got my spot after all!

That's great, John. I want to hear about the public's reaction to your photos. Did anyone ask about buying? Did you get compliments? Questions? You fish photos are soooo good. I hope it was a positive experience for you and motivates you to shoot and show more

    Thanks!

It was a very positive experience! I do feel the drive and motivation to do more more more. I have another exhibition starting on April 1st, that runs for a month at a local Starbucks, and I am in talks with two other shops as well. I picked up a few leads as well at the show for places to inquire at about showing.

Many of the people that walked by other works stopped cold at my spot and just studied my shots. One lady was so enthralled with my red leaves that she asked to pick it up to get a better look.Others thought my chameleon had so much personality, and another was blown away by my fish. He just could seem to understand how I could shoot fish... He kept asking me how I could get them to look so good out of the water. I couldn't seem to get it across that they were in the fish tanks...

I did not have the prints priced, as I was not really there to sell anything. It was just about sharing it. I was told by another artist that someone asked if any of it was for sale while I was away, but he didn't know what to tell them, and the person never came back. That is fine with me though, because I just had such a good time.

Here are the other pics from last night.

Here was my first position. I nearly packed it all up before I was offered the windows and table...

Here I am very proud of my work...
