Need to pick out best pictures.... D:

Well as some of you may know, I'm homeschooled. And Apparently Photography is a subject, even though My Mom teaches everything and can barely work a PAS.

Anyways, I've been told to print out 3 of my best pictures. Problem is, I love them all too much to not print out every one....

So yeah, I'm leaving it up to the Skilled and Knowledgeable members at The PR Forums.

So here's some places to look at my photos, other than my Account. Which I'll probably still link too, because I feel like it.

    Flickr
    Photobucket
    My Pictures on Here
My Personal Photography Site (Not Updated in like 3 years and pretty bad design. D:

So yeah, I'd really appreciate it if you guys picked out some you liked, because I have a disease where I can't pick between things. Okay, not really, but still.

Thanks, Ken. (My real name, for those who don't know)

I would like to give you some critical thinking advice, since schooling is all about learning critical thinking skills.

(I haven't looked at your links yet.)

What I think you should do is narrow down your choices based on certain criteria. For me, I would start with lighting. Look at all your photos and pick out the ones where you think you got the lighting absolutely right. Deep darks, no light areas blown out, great contrast, no grey overtones.

    Got that?

Now, from those shots you've picked out, discard any that have any areas that aren't focused correctly, or have other obvious technical flaws.

From what's left, look at your compositions. Which photos have the strongest composition? Use the rule of thirds, etc.

Now, among those, which compositions just excite you at a gut level? Not necessarily for subject matter, but just because they feel "right" compositionally? Your gut will tell tell you which shots are most interesting and compositionally exciting, and will most likely weed out any dull compositions that may have slipped through.

You've probably at this point picked out your strongest pictures. Now it's easier to choose three.

and I've found my three favorites, although I'm not going to tell you what they are until you have gone through the above process to try to choose for yourself. Once you post what you've come up with, then I'll tell you which ones I like.

I read your post Opus, I've picked out two, but I dunno.

EDIT: I think my 3rd just has to be this one.

I looked and made some decisions but after reading what opus said, I think you should follow her advice except I'd put composition first.
    Life is about making decisions.
