My new (and vastly overhauled!) website

    Hey everyone,

After 12 hours of Dreamweaver and Flash classes, countless hours of
looking at people's websites, and countless more working on my own,
it's finally "done enough" that I can invite you to take a look.

It's pretty Flash-intensive, so if it's not working correctly, chances
are you may need to download a Flash player from macromedia.com. And if
you're on dial-up, I apologize, but the site may take a little while to
    load.

So let me know what you think, and if I missed anything.

Oh, and I'm going to put some alt text briefly describing the photos as soon as I figure out how to make that jive with what I've got.

    Question Gorgeous website, Bob

I posted a thread in the web design forum, but I wanted to know if you had any experience with Adobe's creative suite vs dreamweaver. I'm trying to decide on one over the other because all I have is Frontpage which bites big time.

Thanks for looking Leon. And to answer your question, no, I haven't used Adobe's web design software. Although think Dreamweaver is extremely easy to use once you've learned a few basic things about it. I think Asylum Steve uses the Adobe though. Not sure if he's answered your question yet or not.

Looking forward to seeing your finished product.

    I like it!

I'm on 56k dial up. Yes, it took a short while but the Intro was soooo neat!

    Very professional!!

Re: My new (and vastly overhauled!) website

Thanks for looking both of you.

    To Steve,
Yeah, I would have loved to make it, but couldn't find a free ride to Chicago and didn't have the budget to take the bus. I'd say maybe next year (again), but that would have to be the Colorado gathering, because I'm outta here in a couple of months.

    To Kathy,
You know, I spent a ton of time just waiting around until an idea came to me for my intro movie. The entire content of the site was done before I had even started the intro. But the best thing I can recommend for anyone looking to make an intro movie is to just study other people's websites and existing intro movies. Then you can only hope that one of them spurs an idea with you. I'm glad you like my finished product.
