    From the Philippines

I was digging through some boxes tonight and came across these photos I took on my first trip to the Philippines back in 1994, when I went to go visit one of the missionaries that our church supports financially. Please ignore the bad quality...they were shot with a 35mm Cameo compact, but I thought they would make for interesting viewing.

#1 Half buried in ash from the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, this church building in Santa Rita was just one of dozens that I saw while there.

#2 A little girl in the town of Guagua must stay home and do chores instead of going to school.

#3 One of the main streets in Guagua, Pampanga, on the main island of Luzon. The man on the left is our missionary, Pastor Rodante Quito of San Rafael Missionary Baptist Church.

These have a great feel to them especially the last one ...thanks for sharing and broadening our horizons

I was just myself. I didn't know any other way to be, or any other way to live."
