    Some Sunset Shots

Sunset shots are a dime a dozen. Everyone takes them, and has a bunch of them.

Last Thursday on my way home I stopped and took these. They must be halfway decent, because Dawn wants to print them and hang them in the house. It's a local thing....

    Re: Some Sunset Shots

Right on Speed. Everyone's got sunset photos, but having ones that stand out is quite a bit more difficult. You nailed it with these though. The purposeful, hard working shrimp boats are a great contrast against the beautiful nature of the sunset.

Beautiful shots. Now I'm in mental turmoil because I can't decide which one I like better. I love the dark moodiness of the first, but I also love the play of lighting between the sky and the reflection from the water of the second. Mmmmm. Dangit Speed!

That's why I posted both of them. They are nearly identical, but there is enough difference to be noticeable.

I guess this means you aren't going to tell me which one to have printed for my living room! ;-)

Thanks for the comments my friend!

    Re: Some Sunset Shots

Both are very nice but my nod goes to the first shot. Love the mood it sets. I agree that this shot should find a place on the wall in your home.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Speed, if they were mine, I would definitely print and hang the second one. The reflection off the water pulls it all together. Great images!!

Print them both. We will probably end up doing that.

    Thanks WG.
So far I have one vote for the first shot, one vote for the second shot, and two say print both.
    I love my PR friends!

While similar, I posted both shots because they are different enough to be distinct from each other. The first shot is a little darker, has more contrast. The second shot is brighter and has the reflections. It's amazing what moving just a few feet to the left will do for an image.

    Yes it does!

And I like how I caught it between the out riggers.

My vote is for the second one,it will look great printed and framed, hopefully on a wall that catches some early/late day sun.
