Five minutes from my house, why didn't you call me !
Thanks for the invite, I was up north for the weekend. Got the message last night as I came back into reality (as in world of phones & computers...). Anderson Gardens is a beautiful place, our wedding pictures were taken there. Nice work, hope you enjoyed the day.

Thanks Nat. I'll go through the shots again, but I think this is pretty much all worth posting. What a crappy day. Crappy lighting, crappy sky, crappy heat and humidity...you get the point. Hard to take pictures like that if you don't have to.
As for TnA, I wouldn't know. Whever I read a post and I get to Speed's Nipples I make sure never to revisit that thread again. Call me crazy... ;)

Hehe, I figured you were out of town. No biggie. It was cool, but we didn't have the best time, it was just the wrong time to go, too hot, too hazy. We plan on going back in the fall. I'll let you know in advance.
BTW, you should check out the "Stories behind the image thread. I think you might have some good stuff to contribute, both in images and in the thoughts behind them.

Aw, come on already. I post one shot, and you get bent out of shape.
If it makes you feel better, I posted a shot of my back this time.

Once again I say....should I get so talented to take even two ggood/great shots on a good day with perfect weather...perfect light, perfect temp, and the perfect anything...dude your images rock...please don't ever take shots under ideal conditions...it would just be too discouraging for the rest of us
;)

Truly beautiful. Both images capture beauty of nature and man made melding together into great images.
I especially like the composition of the second image, I would of never thought to compose that that way ( had I been there) The photo, shot vertically, and showing the building behind is wonderful, great, (awesome even) depth of field.
What strikes me the most about the first image ( waterfall) is the contrast of the color of the rocks, with the green moss and the plant on the lower left hand.
Awesome work.
Thanks for sharing!

What happens when you hit a Thousand?Should I watch for Balloons?
Seriously, despite the crappy day, you really do have great light in that shot. Both shots. Diffused, yet creating shadows. In the first one the elements are placed nicely, leading the eye all around the shot. The cascades stairstep the eye down to the lower right corner, and then the lone green plant grabs the eye and shoots it back up into the shot again.
I like the second one best, personally. Lighting's wonderful, DOF perfect, love that reflection! You really don't need the whole thing because it mostly serves to highlight the glassy surface of the wet concrete.
