I should have bet against your prediction...would have been easy money.

At least you are consistently wrong

As I lifelong resident of New England, I do not know what to do with myself. Only the Celtics have show this much success in New England. Red Sox. Patriots. What is a man to do?

I am burning my Eagles shirts & hats now. Or at least so long as Andy Reid is the head Coach. BRAIN FREEZE! What was he thinknig with those calls in the last five minutes. Absolutely typical of him - he chokes when the heat is in.

OH? This is a photography board?

But in that statement, you were right!

I wanted to see the Eagles win this, but alas, they fell apart in the fourth quarter.

And what happened to McNabb? He had a great first half, a rough third quarter, but couldn't get it together in the fourth. It was also interesting looking at the Eagles bench during the fourth quarter. They had the look of defeat on them. There was no fight left in them. And someone tell me where the Philly defense went in the fourth quarter. It was non-existent. Sad day for Philly fans.

Tom Brady on the other hand, had an awesome night. Great throws, never got agitated, maintained an even strain. Very professional, and it paid off for New England - again. No one can argue that the better team won...

BTW, I have two favorite teams.

The Carolina Panthers and anyone who plays Dallas!

    It's "them's fightin words"

And really them's wasn't fightin words. I'm a Skins fan and the Cowboys are our arch rivals (though they thoroughly swamped us the last #$% years) so I actually agree with my fellow Samurai!

I lived in Boston in the early nineties. I remember how the Patriots faithful appeared. I'm very, very happy to see New England getting their due.

    Gone Riding

That's what I done. Spent that time in the redwoods, flowing and pedaling. Watched none of it. No regrets.

I missed the commercial that everyone is saying was the best: a guy dives out of a plane for a 6 pack.

I personally liked the kitty pasta sauce one.

That was my second favorite commercial of the night.

My favorite was the one with the soldiers walking through the airport and everyone applauded them. Being former military, that one struck a chord with me.

I was on a plane to Atlanta the other day and the flight attendant announced that there were two soldiers on the plane going back to Iraq after a two-week leave. We applauded loud and long.

Regardless of your stance on the war (and I am one who has been very vocal against it from day one), I can't imagine not honoring those who sacrifice for the true values of our country -- regardless of who is in charge and regardless of the circumstances.

When I saw that commercial I thought of the father of my little 5 year olds best friend. Until last week, his father had been in Iraq for over a year. His wife has spent a lot of time with us ove rthe past year and she told us about a story from when he came home for a 2 week leave. While walking off the plane and through the small airport in Manchester, NH, he was stopped every 10 feet by someone who wanted to thank him and shake his hand. It took them forever to get out of that airport No matter your stance on what has transpired, these men and women whould be honored for their sacrifice.

Now, my favorite commercial was GoDaddy.com. Hilarious parody and a middle finger in the face of this bogus decency crap that is going on.

The bloddy cat had me laughing outloud as well.

Finally, even as a NE fan, I was yelling at the Eagles to get to the line and make some plays. What the heck happened there?!? Based on all the stories coming out of PA, all I can think is that the simply cracked under the pressure.

Yeah, they acted like they had never heard of time management. Less than a minute to go and they were holding huddles?!!! When you're ahead, you run down the clock - not when you're behind.

I agree with you wholeheartedly about the troops and the sacrafices they are making. They are doing a tremendous job and are to be commended.

Re: I was yelling at the Eagles to get to the line

Unfortunately, when I saw that commercial I thought "geez, here goes another corporation tugging at the heart strings of the American public to boost their PR."

I too am 100% anti-war, but you guys knew that already.

My cousin got pregnant while serving in Iraq. She and her fiance came home and got married last summer, and she was honorably discharged.

He was sent back to Iraq last month and told "it's at least for a year." His son is 8 months old.

I support the people fighting the war, I abhor the people making the war.
