    Opera House Panorama

PJ seemed to like this one on Facebook so I thought I'd share it here too. It's a 9 shot panorama I stitched in Photoshop CS5.
I shot the frames vertically with my beloved Pentax DA 15mm Limited lens on my K-5 on a Manfrotto BeFree travel tripod. After stitching and doing basic level adjustments I ran it through Nik Color Efx Pro 2 to bring out some additional detail and color.
This was my second try at this photo since the day before it was crowded and didn't have the tripod.
I went early in the morning hoping for sunrise color but it was pretty gray. But still an interesting sky so I'm happy enough with it.

My SSD in my main photo processing PC at home failed so I'm getting a slow start to going through all these (~60 GB of RAW files). I've got the PC up and running again on an old mechanical drive but it's painfully slow now that I got used to that SSD!

Just plain breathtaking shot. The colors are beautiful. It's tack sharp. You captured some real subtleties in the clouds.

I think this shot is beautiful. I love the colors on the building and the overall framing of the shot with the bridge in the background. And I must agree, the clouds are very interesting!
