A snowmobile on water ? Does it stay afloat , or is it just momentum ...

I've seen it on videos before... I think the momentum and with the skis sort of makes it like water skiing without the boat. Great fun until something goes wrong and your snowmobile sinks.

That's awesome! The snowmobiles can go pretty close to indefinitely I think; the tread spins so fast and "grips" enough to keep it up on the water. You can even skim a dirtbike if you're going fast enough - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iW90ljL83eI&NR=1

well he started from the middle on a piece of ice floating. yeah they can do great on water
