    Now for somrthing totally new...

At least for me anyway. I've never shot skateboarding before, but my nephew invited me out to a downhill slalom race in Park City on Sunday in hopes of getting some shots to help promote the event. I shot mainly with the 12-24 Sigma and a few with the 70-210. The event organizers were a little concerned with me laying on the ground on the outside of one of the turns but let me do my thing as they were getting free pics out of the deal. No crashes so it was all good. I was amazed at the range of ages competing, from a low of 13 to a high of 52. quite a nice group of people. I think I might have to venture to a skatepark now. Enjoy.

Cool shots Scooter! Great catches that captured the excitement and action.

Re: Now for somrthing totally new...

Thanx to all for your comments. Brian, hello! It was in Park City in a new development. (Paved road but no houses yet.) They're talking about doing it on Main St. in P.C. next year. I really haven't been shooting all that much. Still pulling 12 hour days and Saturdays, so time is very limited. I did finally get a laptop and wireless internet, so I have a computer at home at long last. Hopefully it will get me more active on this board and able to edit the stuff I do shoot, instead of trying to do it at work which is getting impossible these days.
