    Two of my best animal photos





    Both photos are 4 years old.
    Both have won minor awards.

    Those two cats were orphans I found as newborns and bottle raised. They were naturally very affectionate with each other and would often just cuddle together. The top pic was taken just days after I got my Kodak (June 2002) and I was experimenting with the zoom with the cat on the left (Billy) I was laying on my belly on the floor next to hit and took maybe 15 shots. The other cat (Gerty) came and plopped down next to Billy almost right on top of him and his arm bounced around and landed over her shoulder. I didn't even realize his arm was there until after I loaded it to the computer.
    What that picture doesn't show is that those cats were huge. There's 55lbs worth of meows sitting there.
