    My 2nd wedding anniversary trip

I got a weekend off, and the wife and I decided since we've been to the Sierras a bunch since we've been married, we've been down to Monterey, Carmel, & those places, we decided to head up North to Point Reyes/Bodega Bay area. We left REALLY early Friday, hung out at Point Reyes in the morning/afternoon, and then stayed the night in Bodega Bay. If you're ever heading up there, stay at the Bodega Coast Inn, its in a perfect spot, and is really great.

An abandoned boat we saw heading out to the lighthouse.

Heading down to the lighthouse, 308 steps down to it, 308 steps back up. Not including the ramp thats about 1/2 down.

We've decided to put this one on our wall once we get it printed

Having fun with self timer & strobist setup. D2h, Sigma 70-200 F2.8, SB-800 on lightstand in front of us triggered via the pocket wizard. It was quite fun pushing the shutter, then jumping back into the photo. My fav of my wife & me

A pano that I'm working on that's also gonna go on our wall

    Happy Anniversary!

Your pano is gorgeous. The fishing boat pic really touches me. I grew up in a Croatian community that was all fishermen. Now it is a lost livelihood. The boats that were once everything to many families are now worth nothing. My family's boat was donated out.

Anyway, the first pic really speaks to me.
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

Wow, 308 steps each way. Better to attempt that on your 2nd anniversary instead of your 32nd. That's a cool shot. Then, I look at you kissing her and read her t-shirt and can't help but hope she didn't "toss her cookies" after that kiss. Just kidding of course. Nice shots and the pano will look nice on your wall. Congratulations on your second.

Great images!! I'd be putting the same lighthouse one up on my wall too. Just curious, what are the dimensions of the pano and what did you use to make it (thanks).

...and 308 steps - not something I'd be doing with my new knees...enough to walk up ten or 12 steps.

    Cheers,

Right now the pano is currently 14 1/2 in wide, and 5 in tall. Now I just have to find a place to get a custom frame & matte for it

Congrats on the anniversary, its hard work but worth it. The shots are great, I like the boat and the pano.
