    i neeed some help finding the right one

    hey.. i currently own a kodak v1253 12mp which is pretty good for a digital camera but i've taken way too many pictures wit it n and i want to get on the DSLR world now. i thought on the nikon D60 so far i think its the best for the price. does anyone know anything better than that? i mean for the price around? like 700 or so. i dont wanna get stuck wit a crappy camera.

    The best thing to do is go to a store that carries several brands and put them in your hands and take a few shots similar to what you normally take with them. Include making whatever setup changes you normally make and see which is least irritating to use and fits your hands the best.

    For people to give you some kind of reasonable answer you should describe and post some of your typical shots.

    I second what Chunk said. Go to a store and get your hands on them. Right now, I wouldn't be too worried about getting "stuck wit a crappy camera". All of the current DSLR's on the market are very good. Some have more features than others, but the image quality on all of them should be very good. Figure out what features you need, and which one feels the best in your hands and has everything that you need. That will be the best choice for you.
