A few more portraits from this week...

Hey, if you're bored, feel free to play! lol I posted on of the originals. She had some skin discoloration that I had to fix, which made this challenging. The portraits are for a few different purposes - she's a realtor and also involved in many other businesses that are in the music industry.

http://bizfx.com/tess The first one is the original, the rest are what i've done.

This is one of my faves:

Cool. I like what you've done with that.

I'm trying to convince my little sister to go into modeling. Here's one I randomly shot down at the beach

Well, if she's over 5'9 and is thick skinned (the industry is brutal) she should try it. I modeled for 10 years. The norm expected when I was modeling was 5'10 and 34/28/36 and is now for a 5' 11 girl 32/24/34 I'm sure you've seen the magazines - anorexia is alive and well in the industry!

    Janie,

I love this pose on this photo, but it needs a bit more even light on the hair when you shoot it.

Here's a version I've put together, but excuse the hard edges around her hair as that is due to having quickly selected her face in order to change the background color to a circular gradient. A bit of curves adjustment and levels, a little desaturation of the reds, unsharp mask, and a slight hodgification for the soft effect. A very quickly done version but you get the idea.
