    Airshow! (sorta)

Spent the afternoon with a friend at his local RC club. Was a great opportunity to take some pixxors of some really cool toys.....

This one was frikkin' sweet! Flew real nice and sounded awesome.

Love the Thunderbolt. (The F8F above was the same scale)

Did I mention that I love the Thunderbolt?

    My friend and his plane...

Bad end to this guy's day...

I didn't see what happened but it didn't end well for him.

Some cool stuff. One guy had an F86 with a ducted fan engine. Sounded pretty authentic but he didn't have any landing gear on the thing and only flew it for a minute or so. Long lens on all of the shots. I was about 25 yards away from the "runway".

    A couple more.....

This dude was doing all kinds of acrobatics. Real lightweight plane.

    Here's the F86...

No landing gear. They had to launch it.

Those are some great shots!...and a great hobby. My dad use to do that. Some days were better than others though...that's probably why he doesn't fly them anymore...ran out of planes...LOL...oh, the stories.
