    Rt 68

Along US Route 68 in southern Ohio I came across this rather interesting establishment. I thought it was worth putting me a little behind schedule to grab a quick picture.

It is interesting, really like the jumble of colors. Is this place still open?

No I don't think so. It has become kind of collectors place I think. Seems like the owner was collecting and displaying memorable from garages and gas stations of days gone by.

NIce shot OT. Can't you just hear the rattle and clank those old coke machines made while you pulled your bottle out?

This feels like some of the old stations along old Route 66 out west.

I like the old gas pumps, I wonder what the price is on the pumps and what gas cost when they were in use?

I use to love those old Coke machines. My Dad ran a store when I was a kid and one of my jobs was to fill the Coke machine. I would usually get a free one for completing that task. Saved me a nickel that I could use to buy a bag of peanuts and dump them in the free coke.

I thought about Route 66 when I names this thread. We have gotten so use to interstate driving that many of these places have paced into the memory only file. I know you like to get off the beaten path when you on the bike. I can sure make for a more scenic trip and a lot more photo ops.

Greg I've been kicking myself for not check what the price was on the pump. Sure wish I had.
