    First Snow At PJHQ

First snow at the new PJHQ came yesterday. The first dusting is always exciting

The Halloween thing was in the neighbors' yard. I'm not much of a decorator.

Snow on roses...not an everyday shot.
Fortunately we have only had a bit of mountain snow and hopefully it will stay there until maybe January.
    Good shots, especially the closeups.
    Keep Shooting!

Sorry John, I don't see any snow anywhere. Try again when there's actually snow on the ground

Nice shots John. I like the bright flower with the snow on it.

I know you're happy about the snow - as you look forward to a nice winter of skiing, etc. I wish my sentiments were the same this year. However, we've had so much rain and cool weather this summer/fall in NJ that I can't get too happy over snow......yet.....or gray skies....well, you get the "drift"

I will look for the ski pics soon to come.

Flowers with snow are always fun

That snow didn't stick - not down here in the valley, anyway. At least one ski area is opening this weekend, though. I might go up to Alta and hike with my skis this weekend. I am having a tough time really committing to winter, though. It's beautiful and warm (relatively) today and I just came back from a beautiful long weekend in Western Colorado and Moab. Photos to come...

The flowers are best. I'd be great if you got REAL tight and caught a stray bit of light that reflects off the snow.
