    My D-100 has landed!!!

And I swung by my local camera shop and picked up the MB-D100 vertical grip on my lunch break. The grip is installed, batteries are fully charged.. Now all I need is a bleedin' lens so I can take a picture of dirt or something!!

I'll try and post something tonight...

    Talking Congratulations!

Now THAT is exciting news! It's such a GREAT feeling getting a new Camera - especially a great camera like the D100!

I hope to see the first images very soon! When I picked up my first SLR (Rebel 2000) I couldn't wait to try it out. My first photo was pigeons in a parking lot on a gray day! It was the first thing I saw on the way home! Looking forward to seeing that dirt.

I know the feeling! I had my S2 shipped to work, and brought a lens with that day so I could test it out (OK, play with it) on my lunch break. That vertical grip was one thing I really liked about the D100, they don't have one for the S2. Enjoy!
