    Jack visits Pop

You guys all know me as Old Timer, but my grandson Jack knows me as Pop. He spent the holiday weekend with us in KY and gave me an opportunity to update a few photos. Here's Jack at Pop's house. Oh yes and my son David even grabbed my D70 and got one of us together.

Thanks everyone. I try never to miss an opportunity to post a picture of Jack. For the past 15 months he has been the apple of our eye. As of 3 pm yesterday he has competition however. Our daughter-in-law Kate presented us with a 7lb -14oz baby boy for Jack to play with. Named Joshua Wayne he is reputed by his father Samuel to have many features inherited form his paternal grandfather. This little guy will have a hammer in his hand and be molding metal to his will by the time he is two, just like mom and dad. I will not be able to see him in person for two weeks. Joy and I are flying to Texas on the 20th to spend a week with them and to get to know Joshua.

Jack is adorable, is he that big already? And wow, he does look like you, especially in the eyes. He's a lucky boy!

You just don't understand about grand kids till you have them. They are God's gift to old age. Jack may have a few of his Pop's features, but one thing is for sure he has a lot more hair.

That's one good looking little man! I'm not biased at all. I love the one where he's sticking his tongue out.

Well I think we both have a right to be biased. I like that tongue picture too. Maybe we should have wiped the graham crackers of his mouth and chin before I started taking pictures. What do you think?
