    Sculpture Garden

The same weekend Penny didn't shoot a wedding, I didn't either! Reg and I walked to a local sculpture garden that had more garden than sculpture. Here are a couple color Holga shots - scanned from a contact sheet. My scanner is blocking things up a bit There's a bit more information in the originals. I think I might go back and shoot a little more to get the shot of the legs without the light flare.

    Film

    Thanks for looking!
    I used Portra VC 400.
Unfortunately, there weren't too many sculptures! But I want to re-photograph and get the shot I want.

Indeed it is Reg's arm! I'm starting a new series... well, not really - continuing one.

I found some old slides of work from High School, and I looked at a few photos after not seeing them for over a decade, and said [WOW!!] freaky. So I'm taking the idea I had in a few photos and starting a series based on it. Anyway, that's why Reg's arms are in the photo.

What does Pedro Meyer have to do with my photos? Just wondering

    Thumbs up Right On!

What an excellent place to use a Holga!
I am glad to see that you are still using color!
    Go Megan!

the article was baout how he made real things appear surreal and always made you look twice...like the legs that look like the jolly green giant and look like a comic book drawing superimposed but you know it's not cuz well... you used a Holga and the fact that the statue of the player is looming over Reg...but again, you don't know if it's Reg or if it's part of the sculpture...that's all...it remionded me of that
