I present Alessandra Mercedes Crannell

On Friday at 10 p.m. on Friday March 30th, 2007 I received the best gift I could ever imagine. My daughter was born healthy and full of life.

Mother and daughter are doing fine. She came in at 8.09lbs and 22inches long.

it's the most amazing thing, and I cannot wait to make a lot of cute pictures of her in the future.

These were taken just moments after she was born on Friday.

Awww!! She's darling! I'm happy to hear that she and her mommy are doing well. Just last week I was actually wondering if Karen had had the baby.. I remembered that you two had recently found out she was preggers when we all got together for the LA photo gathering. :)

From the fingers of a tired, but estactic man, "thank you". I still cannot believe she is finally here. It's been so much fun to hold her and see her with my own eyes.

I cannot wait to be a parent and share her moments. It''s a pleasure to share her first moments with my photograpyreview family.

This is the new family car, taken with my cell phone. Enough room for two dogs, a baby girl, and all of the camera or scuba equipment we can carry. I have a Baby Bjorn baby carrier so I can take her on photo outings in the future.

We still have the Jeep Commander, but traded in Karen's Jeep Wrangler for something a bit bigger. We ran out of room in the Commander, but it's still are snow and 4wd vehicle.

I LOVE the truck. It has so much space and it's fun to drive.
