    Adorama; A PR.com partner?

    Is Adorama a site partner?

I'd like to buy some gear this week, but B&H is closed down for Passover. If Adorama is partnered with PR.com, I'll shop with them.

Thanks for asking, Brian. Adorama is not currently a direct partner, although they are a great dealer. Don't expect them to be open through Passover, though. Like B&H, they're also very religious and I am sure they'll be closed for Passover. They're actually usually more strict than B&H. They used to ask us to remove their links during Jewish holidays.

If you want to support the site, just use the dealer links on the appropriate review pages. If you do that, we'll get paid. Make sure to use reputable dealers, though!

Thanks for the 411.. I was on their site earlier today, but didn't notice anything about them being closed. I probably missed it.

I'll check and see if any of the prices are close to B&H or Adorama. If not, I'll just wait for B&H to reopen after their Holy days.

It appears that the notice was on their home page and I just didn't take the time to read.

I guess I need to slow down and smell the roses.

    Thanks again mates!

    Howdy and welcome back!

Calumet Photo, KEH and Roberts Imaging in Indy are all open. Roberts has good deals, but they're not a partner site.

I've used Roberts in the past and they were pretty good. Calumet has offices in CA so I avoid them when making larger purchases. I hate paying all the sales tax.

I crunched some numbers last night and it looks like I'll likely wait for B&H to reopen. I can't justify spending more money just because I *want* something sooner rather than waiting a couple extra days. Thanks for the suggestions though.
