    Holy h-e-double-hockey stick!

I went by the Ice Bears office yesterday to drop off a CD of these shots. Apperently, the players and PR group have gone nuts over them. They've ordered 5 of the 11 shots above (and one more that wasn't included here) to be blown up poster size for the locker room.

It just feels so good when someone "gets" the vision you tried to offer with your photos.

    Here's the ones they wanted:

That's great news Andy. Now work a deal for the souvenier stand.

    Hockey? What's that?!? ;)

Excellent news, Andy! I don't think it's an insult to point out that, IMO, "straight out of the camera" your shots are pretty standard fare, but you did a nice job of stylizing them and giving them a very graphic look. That makes all the difference...

BTW, it's nice to know somebody's playing hockey SOMEWHERE...

No kidding. Great touch up and 'design' use to add that extra flare to your shots. Always a pleasure to watch hockey, even if it's only a picture! Great shots, and as Steve said, atleast there's hockey somewhere.

Not insulted at all - my "out of the camera" shots were well exposed and froze/captured the action. My post production work gave them the "feel" I wanted. Together, the two became my photographs of minor league hockey. I was very happy with the result, and (not looking to start a debate here) the result I am most interested in.

    Thanks again, everyone.

HOCKEY? Yes - a familiar word - I do think I recall the days of the Broad Street Bullies.

These are great pix - Congratulations!
