    Cool Hey PJ...

How long has the front page been like that? Good color, composition...wonderful shot selection in general!

Also, what are the requirements for viewing this new forum? I can't see any photo attachments in any threads (though I can see avatars).

It's been like that for about two days. Glad you like it. I hope you don't mind. If you do let me jknow and I'll take it down. Actually, if you rather, I'll happily replace that photo with an image from you.

Glad to see you in the new forums. I didn't know if you were around. Couldn't remember seeing your name for a while.

    Oops

Heck I gots no problem with using that shot (you don't think this counts as my 15 minutes, do you?) I've always liked that one, the way you framed the woman looking what I'm shooting with my lens hood. Ironically, I was shooting one of Rick's friends and *he* was shooting something either the city or the Bridge...

I still come around every few days, just not daily like I used to, and usually just to post a reply to someone I know or to answer a question no one else is addressing. Frankly I don't post pics that much because I think I've fallen behind the curve that people have seriously raised in the last year!! I feel like a newbie again. But yes, I'm around...just lurking a bit more than before )

Talking I'm glad to see you around!

I've been looking for a few people lately, and you're one of them! Glad you're here. I went over to the old forums....Bobbythebandit wanted to know if something was wrong....where is everybody.....so I sent him over here. Hopefully we'll be hearing from him.

BTW, I'm confused as to the reason you don't post pics....could you reiterate just a bit about how you see this happening? I haven't seen a change, but then, sometimes things happen slowly, and we don't recognize it.

    Again, thanks for posting.

Awwwww. We all have down periods. That's part of why I started the Photo Project. It's toget you out of your comfort zone and get you moving. Sometimes an assignment is just the thing to get you motivated and inspired. Shoot something for the Work Photo Project and see if that gets you going.

For one, I'm just not taking as many creative pictures lately. Rather, I find myself mostly taking social snapshots with my digital. When I do make the occasional purposeful outing it's hard to come up with anything interesting. Photogaphy is like a sport; it's an activity where I gotta stay in practice or I get rusty and things just don't feel right, ya know?

I'm just not proud of my results lately and don't feel comfortable putting mediocre stuff up for public consumption. All of a sudden the general photo quality on this site has become really good across the board and frankly it's a little intimidating!

    So yeah...
