Talking It came! sporty new SmugMug strap

Just like they promised, it finally showed up and it's looking pretty good
Kind of a spongy neoprene with what appears to be very decent quality.
Just in time for the PR 24 hr marathon!

I guess I'm out of the loop or is that strap. I spend far too much time here on PR it seems.

Got mine too. I have a very nice briefcase that has the exact same material for its strap. It's SUPER comfortable, so I can't wait to try it on the camera.

Should I buy stock? Why the run on Smugmug straps?

    'cuz they're free, Paula. http://www.smugmug.com/free-stuff.mg?offered=yes&
And not a bad strap at all.....much more user friendly than my official Nikon one.

Well, you guys got there just in time. It seems they are out of stock and can't take my order today, but "they hope I will return when they get another shipment." Rats.

Indeed, it's neoprene with a very grippy, yet soft rubberized surface on one side. Super comfortable, yet secure. Definitely way better than the standard Canon strap.
