You're welcome Paul. I got a shot last night that I will post later tonight. It's not one I have seen in the thread yet, but I might have missed it. Are you excited?

Well if people think we should keep going......

Hold your images a week or so and I will start BIRD ID PART TWO if the demand is high ;)

The original thread is so big that you can't view a good portion of the beginning anymore(server errors due to it's massive size)

OK... off to work I go

    Re: Bird ID Part Two

Thank you Paul for this thread and some needed ID's for me. I haven't been able to get out to get any recent shots so I haven't checked out the thread the last few days and just found out now that you put an end to it. I guess all good things must end. I don't know if I'll ever get to the Bird Nerd status but I do enjoy getting out and seeing what I can get.

    Don't worry..

We will get a new one rolling in a week or so.

I need to find time to get another image of a bird to start it with I am thinking I will TRY tuesday and thursday to get a GOLDEN EAGLE MIGRATING if it is kind enough to come by low ;) I am actually a paid photog covering a migration study(when not doing my actually job), so I get paid to shoot hawks that are low(hardly any are though lately) between looking for hawks at 5000 feet .

You're welcome Paul! I just wish I had more time to have contributed more.

I think you should do a part two. I just learned we have bald eagles close to here. Maybe if you start the thread that'll give me the inspiration to take the drive and see if I can get a shot of one.

Paul I appreciate your thanks. I just wish I had better bird pictures so I could have participated more in this wonderful thread. I sure did enjoy watching it each day. You did a great job.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    You're welcome Paul

You've done a great job with the bird thread. You are still keeping up with all the pictures - and some are just awesome. I don't always reply to the posts as I don't have the time, but it's a pleasure looking at the birds.
