    Hey There Grandpaw!!!!!

Congratulations - you and your kitty are the 100th post on this thread!

Sweet kitty.....what's his name? Any more kitties or pets?

It's always good to see your around - and posting.

I have two cats, Molly and Jeremy and they are so funny - very entertaining and good company.

Just realized I haven't posted any shots of my three kids.

    Here's Conan, our Boston Terrier.

Not mine, But belongs to a lady friend. Her name is Yoda (Cat's, not lady friend.), because when she was young, her ears were "huge". As you can see, she grew into them. ;)
Shot with a Pentax ME, using Kodak BW400cn in existing light. Lens used was an SMC Pentax M F/1.7, @ F/2.8 I think.

    Keep Away
Their favorite game, keep away/tug of war. They'll all three grab a hold of the rope and tug on it for a while then one of the three will steal it and run with it. Believe it or not the little white dog gets his fair share of steals.

Use the force, young OBie, not the meter :)

Seriously, your camera's meter is going to try to give your picture an average exposure.
So if you show a black dog to your meter it's going to come out grey.
Or a black cat may come out shades of brown, revealing the tabby shadowing that's normally only visible in bright sun.

So don't be afraid to under-expose from what your meter says, to keep the coat black.

Gizmo the new guy at home :) an 8 week old Pitbull/Chow who was trying to help me type this as he sat on my lap.
More in the thread "My family grew today" from last week. He was abandoned in an alley by a friends who asked if I wanted him. It was that or he'ed have been put to sleep by the "humane Society" in Indy who doesn't even try to adopt either Pitbulls or Chow's

Wow, love the bright orange ones in the third shot. I've thought about getting a small lizard or two myself but, worried about the cats getting at them.
