I had to chime in. This is my daughter's cat, Pumpkin. I thought I'd show the little monster as I see him. This shot is in a letter and on its way to my daughter at camp.

Here's a couple more of Peter and Spike.

The first one was shot with Fuji Sensia 100 on my Canonet. The second one is from my XTi.

I'll be photographing them at about a month old, when they're not just meeping bundles of fur ... like the last set http://www.nordligdrom.co.uk/gallery.html

I love your animals........I remember seeing your beautiful shots of a yellow snake (sorry I'm not familiar with the specific name).

I like the names you gave them......very creative and unique (as they are). Could you tell us the names (species) of the above animals - ummmm with the exception of "Little" the cat. BTW, does the cat get along with the others? Snakes in particular?

Thanks for posting these - I really enjoyed viewing them. That first one is really cute.

    Thanks Liz!

The snakes are all set up in individual, locking, cages, away from the cats and dog. They all don't seem to mind each other, but I like to keep them under lock and key for their own good. There is no worse PR than to have your neighbor find your snake in his house. It happens all the time (thankfully not to me). It's hard enough to just own snakes - many landlords won't let you rent if they know you have one.

The species shown are a crested gecko, Rhacodactylus Ciliatus, a leopard gecko, eublepharus macularius, an ackie monitor, varanus acanthurus, and a western hognose snake heterodon nasicus.

    Here's a couple more.

Jake was feeling photogenic today. His other two partners in crime (three if you count my daughter) weren't as cooperative.

Thanks......I really enjoy viewing your photos. Do you post them at times on VF - or the Wildlife & nature forum? I'm asking because I think people really enjoy seeing them - their different than the normal photos (I mean that in a positive way), and you would probably get some nice comments. It's great to post them on the Project forum too, but most of the time there aren't too many comments - just photos.

Thanks for sharing them with us. They're awesome......hmmmmmm......I never called a snake awesome before, but you bring the beauty of them alive with your photos.

    Hey there Paul!

Wow! great sharp photos for a "crummy P&S." The geckos are so cute....their eyes are so big. I've never seen a gecko - besides the one who "works" for Geico. :D

    Thanks for posting them.......

OK, here are the "B" and "C" litters.
See if you can recognise any of the"A" litter in the grown-ups :)

OB. Short for Out of Bounds. And she is.

Any advice on taking photos of black dogs? I could use it.
