    I tried this as well, no luck w/ most, but I think this one turned out OK...

    Lori, you probably don't need a BETTER lens, just a longer one :) The Tamron 70-300 I shot these with is probably the cheapest crappiest lens out there, as far as long zooms go, cost @ $100

    Beautiful photos one and all!!

    I had overcast and heavy clouds on the horizon both at moon rise and set:cryin:

    And there was this perfect setting for silhouetteing against the moon.

    Well, I'll try again soon!

    The Second one was fixed to my best abilities.

    How did you have clear sky's in Kelso when I had nothing but snow wind and rain 30 miles north of Seattle that's not fair
