    overpackaging?

Maybe this should go in 'off-topic' but it has pics so here it is.
My wife got a box delivered yesterday.
Seems she took someone up on a 'free' offer.
First shot is of the box it came in with my feet included to show size.
Second shot shows the box with the item on it.....a letter opener. No peanuts, no bubble wrap, no stuffing, just the box and the letter opener.

Do you think the box is big enough? I wonder what the shipping charges were?

and it isn't even an awesome letter opener. Prob some company just trying to get your attention, I don't know what your wife does but if she gets a lot of mail sometimes companies want to stand out, maybe this is how ever the letter opener company thought they would get there ad to her without it being tossed.

I thought it rather funny that they sent it UPS EXPRESS.

This is really funny...I am always on my shipping dept about stuff like this. I tell them it is not them that has to pay the shipping bills...
