I have to say I'm really proud to be a member of this community, after seeing everyone pulling together like this for such a worthy cause that would likely go by almost undetected anywhere else. I think Aaron deserves a big round of applause too for finding us the e-card solution and now taking this on! Seriously, I know I've said it before, but once again, thank you Aaron

Judging by the response of everyone here to Greg's accident, I know we have a great group of members, probably the best on the web. I'm sure any of you would do the same if a good friend was in a similar situation. EVERYONE here get's a pat on the back :thumbsup:

I don't have mod access in this forum so I can't update the original post but, we're now up to $326.68 and that is just donations received. Alot of people have requested to send checks and money orders to help out so that number should be going up quite a bit in the next week. I wasn't aware of neither the accident nor this until earlier tonight. It's quite amazing support for a really good guy. Count me in for this also.

I also thought of an idea. How about we send him photos? Since his primary love is photography, i thought that might be a good idea also. This way he'll always also has some PR 'memorebilia' around his place that he can stare at on his road to recovery :)

I just weened through his posts on my photo critique threads and found one that he liked. I noticed that there is a p.o.box address on his site. Do you think that it's better to send him photos there or to send the photos to one of us, who can then send all of them them in a package directly to Greg?

If you guys don't know how to search for what he liked of your photos. Click search, then advances search, type his full name, choose the find posts by user from the pull down menu. Then just scroll the results till you see a thread started by you. Then, the most important part:

I hadn't sent him anything yet (photos, gifts, etc) because he had been in ICU and patients are unable to receive anything until out of ICU. I'll have to get in touch with Nora now that he is out and get the details :)
