Yes, AV --- that's a shot of Gene from the Los Angeles Gathering. And, OT --- if my health continues to improve, I will resume my posting on a regular basis. I've had a few years of some major health issues but, thank God I'm much better now. Gene and I aren't traveling like we used to anymore but, you never know --- we may be blessed to be able to do that again one of these days too!

Here's a cursory sunset shot taken at the beach down the street. If I remember correctly, you folks liked some of my sunset shots.

Welcome back Penny & Gene. You really added another blessing to my Thanksgiving Day! It's a joy to see you. I've thought about you so often. Even last week I was going to post something asking if anyone had been in touch with you recently. I didn't get to it due to some unexpected work situations that took up most of my week.

It's good to hear that your health is improving, Penny. I will say a special prayer for you and Gene.

Great shots - and I look forward to seeing more. It's soooooooo good to see you around PR again - Welcome Home!

WOW! This is serpendipity at its finest. A day or so ago I was staightening out one of my photo cabinets and came across a few prints that you had given me in Miami. I was wondering how you guys were...

Its one of those L-O-N-G stories that can best be summed up by saying the financial backing did not match the talk and interest of all those involved in the project. We made the fact-finding trip, studied the demographics, did all the homework, but when the funds did not start pouring in, that told the real story. SO --- we have settled in the South Bay area of Southern California close to the beach until further notice.

It is GREAT to be back home with all of you once again. We really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. Also, we look forward to another Los Angeles Gathering any time the folks around here are up for it. :thumbsup:
