    First Birthday Cake img. heavy

Grandson's first birthday cake which he seemed to enjoy.

The third one is my favorite.

What great pictures, Frog! Happy First Birthday to your beautiful grandson. The photos are precious. I think I also like No. 3 the best - I love the way he is studying the cake on his fingers.

Thanks for sharing.....what a beautiful baby!

Wonderful series of pictures Frog. One of our grandsons had to be hosed off in the back yard after his first birthday cake. He had a ball just like yours did.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thank you, Jeta, OT, and Liz.
It was actually a shared birthday with his sister. Their dates are 2 days apart.
She's 3 and much neater though she did have fun. Several times she looked at her brother as if amazed at how messy he was. Didn't catch any of those except in my mind.

Great pictures Frog, really looks like he enjoyed the cake. I love it when they just dig in and get cake all over themselves.

Side note, for my godsons 1st birthday he didn't want to touch the cake and started to cry when his mom put his hand into it to see if he would grab a piece and eat it. I guess he just wanted to stay clean. They had to keep an eye on his cousins since they were the ones wanting a hand full.

Your side note is the same that happened to his older sister.
Was very uninterested in cake on her first. We figured it was because they had given her no sweets her first year. She's overcome that now and was sitting next to him enjoying the cake a little neater than he.

Re: First Birthday Cake img. heavy

I tried using photoshop elements 6 slideshow creater for the first time and got it ok and then used the save thingy that says it makes it so I can email it but tried emailing to self in a couple of addresses and it closes outlook express and hotmail won't allow the attachment to open.
I'll figure it out. Slideshow is of whole party....about 60 casual shots..

Thank you, gahpsidy! I believe you are absolutely correct.
When I'm digging through old family photos, I sure don't critique them for bad composition or exposure or focus or anything else. I just get nostalgic and enjoy.
