North-east England

Hi everyone

I'm a new member here, so this is the first time I've posted any images.

A few weeks back I stayed in Seahouses in Northumberland. Here are some shots taken from the immediate area. (The castle that features in a number of the pictures is Bamburgh Castle.)

Beautiful shots. I especially like #8.
I bet those boaters are glad for that sea wall.

Great images and welcome. I really like the one with the gull in it, although I would be tempted to clone out the contrail.

I have been here a while now and find it a very friendly place to hang out. Someone always has an answer for my questions and I learn from reading responses to other's questions.

You've got some interesting photos but there are too many to really to comment on sensibly. If your looking for crtique but 1 at a time in the Critique forum.

I really like #8. I think its #8.

Seriously, point taken. I like #8 also but the bottom right hand corner bothers me a little (something obstructing the view a bit). I like the colours reflecting in the puddles and the composition of that one, though.

I'm not actually based in the north-east, but I am 'up north'. I'm on the other side of the country, in beautiful Cumbria.

As with the others, #8 stands out from the others. The colors and composition are very eye-catching. I also like the last shot, just not as well as #8.

By the week, going back to the north-east shots, on another forum someone said they pics lacked impact a little. I think he's probably right, so I had a play and this is what I came up with. ;)
