    where I grew up!

Here is my parents house where I grew up. Actually it is mostly the property in the fall. the landscape has changed quite a bit over the years. Where you see the pond it used to be a barn for horses, etc. Also it used to be surrounded by 600 acres of farm - now it is surrounded by houses .

anyway it is a beautiful place and one of my favorite subjects

Some really gorgeous shots there, wes. Bet it was fun growing up on that place. Being not too far away from Lexington, I know it is saddening for me everytime I see a whole farm, or part of one, go under the developers knife.

    Wes,

Definately looks beautiful! 600 acres, wow! Amazing! I'm sure alot of meaningful and personal pics can come from that place!

    Gorgeous images, and great compositions.

I really like the closeups of the foliage.

Thanks, I was surprised at the closeup's myself. I was using a Nikon P&S and they all came out better than I expected!
