    Saturday Night Drive

    I started around 5:30PM , ended about 9:30 PM

Drove to the canyon of river Santiago, which starts in lake Chapala and ends up in the pacific, about 200kms north of Puerto Vallarta, the south side of the canyon is about 1500 m above sea level, the north side is about 2000m , bottom of the canyon is about 500m

I drove towards the town of Tequila, before turning to canyon,
here are couple of views before starting to go down

    1. looking north

    2. looking west

Half way up the north side, this is my first time driving this road, and it is still pretty new, I found some spots with machinery

3.Looking south towards the Tequila mountain

4.One of the machines, looking south-east

About to start climbing all the way to the top
    5. looking east

All the way to the top, really liked the different shades of the mountains
    6.looking west

now that I see it here looks overprocessed ...

Back to the beginning, same place as photo #2
    7. looking west

    Thanks for watching !

    Re: Saturday Night Drive

#6 even though a bit over processed is still my pick of the bunch, keep the hills as they are and sort out the sky and this would be a real keeper
    Pete

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

    I'd be happy with that.

    Pete, Christopher,

    thanks for the comments,

I guess i was too tired when I processed some of the above images, the original #6 lost all the detail in the clouds to a gob of orange light
