    Enough Already!
I'm getting tired of shooting winter scenes. Maybe if we all post some here it will finally break winter's back.

Does this count? This is about as wintery as it's gotten the last month or so...We haven't had snow since January, and it was almost seventy degrees this last week...So much for the dreaded North Idaho winter.

Maybe that'll help. That sure is a lot different than the Idaho winters I remember.

When I was a kid (the 80's) we'd have to have a backhoe dig our driveway out from under three feet of snow....I can't say I miss that...

Actually, it's been 40's and 50's here, and windy, and we are ready for spring too!!!

So spring is only a week away, eh? We got 14 inches of snow on Saturday! Can't say i'm too happy with it, as I'd like to get the boat ready and do some sailing. But alas, this winter has been padding my wallet (snow plowing). I'm honestly ready for summer. I'll post some pics later today when i get them developed.

Chris, do you live in the western part of MA? I live on the coast and we were spared a lot of snow, THIS TIME. We got only a few inches from that last storm. My hubby has made some extra money plowing, but he only does a few places. What a winter!

Chunk, you guys always seem to get more snow that us. I have relatives in Green Bay. :)

Yup. Winter sucks... just no fun [grin]
Actually, we haven't had much of a winter here in Oregon. I posted a series on this in Photo Critique. It would have been more appropriate to post it here. If you are interested, the URL is:

    Lara,

Yes, I live in north-central Mass. We just happened to get the jackpot this time. I only plow a few driveways also, but this winter it was worthwhile (I just wish i had charged more!). Here are a few snaps from Sunday morning after the storm.

Boy, you DID get hit. Glad you can plow yourself out of it. We had flurries here again this evening. You better duck, it's headed your way again.

I can't resist. This is my winter picture of a fellow diver finishing off her Dive Supervisor rating. I shot the pic with a cheap underwater digital that I rented. I can't afford a housing and strobe set for the D70 for quite some time. The air temp was a chilly 76.3 and the water temp got all the way down to 73. What a tough winter.
