    Unhappy My MTB Folly

Well, feeling the urge to join my MTB'ing brethren here on PR.com I went to a local pawn shop and purchased my first mountian bike, (even though there are no mountains in florida), and promptly fell off of it landing on my new DSLR cracking a couple of ribs.

Luckly the camera came out without a scratch, due to its padded bag, but I on the other hand have many scratches. I also think my handel bars are screwd. Oh well, as soon as my wounds heal I am gunna get right back up and try again.

    Later,

Ouch. The closest thing we have to a mountain in Miami is a trash mountain or the Golden Glades interchange on I-95 in North Miami. Hope everything heals soon.

Oomph! Sorry to hear about that! I can't imagine a DSLR wedged between the ribs leaves one feeling very well!

I remember Charles Hess had a similar incident with his Fm2n. I hope your recovery is quick and kudos to you for hoping back aboard!

Ouch, too bad. At least ribs heal, cameras don't.

I think if you go up on the overpasses and bridges, you might consider that "mountain" climbing, as I think those are the highest points in Florida.

I wouldn't recommend trying to climb Space Mountain with your bike, however. Or the Matterhorn. (Is that ride still there?)
