We don't get that much snow in the greater Seattle area but when we do the whole city basically shuts down. Last 2 days we have gotten our share 30 mile north of Seattle. A few pictures from around the house.

Here on the NC coast, it rarely snows, and when it does, an inch is all it takes to shut things down. It's usually gone in a day or two.

oh how I know. I lived in Mooresville, NC for 13 years. In NC had some pretty bad ice storms beautiful photo ops after clearing and sun shining on Ice

Heard and saw you guys north of Seattle got hit hard. Did you lose power?
Been watching Seattle traffic off and on today.....they got what they missed yesterday and the freeways have become parking lots.
We had a little yesterday morning, an inch or two last night and right now its coming down good with probably 6 or 7 inches.
Looks like the husky is happy and I think you should sit in that lawn chair to take a pic...lol.
