    Do language apps really help?

Can apps like Duolingo, Babbel, or Memrise truly help someone achieve fluency in a foreign language, or are they only useful for beginners?

Many learners find that apps provide a convenient way to practice and review. While they might not suit every learning style, they can be a useful part of the process.

They can definitely help, especially when used consistently. I wouldn’t rely on them alone, but they’re great for building habits, practicing vocabulary, and getting comfortable with the basics. When I started, I tested a few before finding what I now consider the best app to learn Spanish. It gave me quick, interactive lessons I could do daily, even during a commute.
