    My Dinner with Photo John!!!

Last night I had the awesome fortune to meet with John Shafer in Ocala Florida, about 100 miles south of my home in Jacksonville. I had a great time. We ate at a little family owned tacoria called Don Pancho's. As John put it the place just had the right look, and boy was he right. It was a real blast!

    Here are some pics:

More pics to come, when I get my memory cards back. I left 2 of them in John's room....

I was fortunate to have a similar experience with MJS when PhotoJohn came down to Miami after last year's PMA. Was really nice to meet him.

John, I'm sorry I missed you Friday night. I know you drove a lot further than I did to meet PJ. Unfortunately, I had to get back to Lake County for another appointment. Glad to hear you guys had a good time...

    Si Mon!

I was very happy that John was willing to drive down to Ocala to meet me. This trip to Florida was one of the most exhausting trips I've ever made. But I really wanted to meet almo in person and the only way it was possible was for him to come to me. And he did! Not only that, but we discovered that Ocala has real Mexican food. After five days of chain restaurant crap, a real taqueria was a blessing. And John got to try lengua for the first time

For those of you who are not in the know, that's tongue I'm putting in my mouth. That's right, I ate tongue. I still can't believe it.

And just to make it clear, it was my pleasure to make that drive. It was good to get out of the old and try something new. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

    Thanks JohnnyBoy!!!
