    Carshow anyone?

I made it to a large carshow this past weekend and managed to get a few decent photos. There were 500+ cars, it was hot and I was with a young man with a VERY short attention span. All in all, it was a great time.

    Here's a sampling:

My son was fascinated by the fuzzy dice in many of the cars.

And a family portrait. I don't have very many of us all together.

Nice shots Troy. It looks like you had a very nice day for it.

These are all great shots. The first shot makes me want to look around for the Munsters. I like the hood used as a framing device in the second shot, the old rusty body with the pristine engine is a hoot, as is Gus's facination with the fuzzy dice. The family portrait in the head light was well done my friend. Nice planning and execution on that one!

Thanks for the comments my friend. It was a gorgeous day even with the high contrast lighting. I had a good time as did Gus and Collette.

The "rusty body" thing is apparently hot in the hot rod world. There were several there, nasty old rusty bodies with obvious engine, interior, wheel/tire, and suspension swap or mods. Guess it's a good way to get into it without soaking a bazillion dollars into a car.

Very nice. Looks like a nice day for the family outing. I also like the family portrait in the headlight.

Know how it can be with the family along. Love the reflection
    photos.
Wish you would have had more time and got a close-up of
the reflection in the hub cap of the first photo.

Do you mean like this?

    I also got these:

My wife has been urging me to do a webpage consisting solely of these types of self-portraits. I've got a bunch. I always seem to get a couple whether it's at a carshow, airshow or any event with something reflective. I think I may be mental.
