    Drying gear

yesterday I got caught by rain, the camera, me and my bag got drenched

once I got home emptied the bag, every item was at least damp

Gladly the only thing no longer useful is the desiccant I had in there , every thing else works

I was using the sigma 150 and switched to the nikon 50mm when rain got more intense

At the time I was using the flash off camera covered by a plastic bag

You should have seen my gear this morning as I got caught in a down pour on the river bank. It's why I get the weather sealed stuff.
I washed it off in the sink when I got home.....

This is why I kept the D300 and the D200. If I have a doubt about anything then I don't use my best gear.

I hope the portable PC wasn't in the bag as well. No rubber seals on that thing.

Not buying any more gear this year. I hope
